IEBC's Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC) heard a complaint filed by the Jubilee Party of Kenya nominee, Mcdonald Mariga Wanyama seeking to appeal the decision of the Kibra Returning Officer in the forthcoming MNA by-election. The Returning Officer on Tuesday 10th September, 2019 disqualified Mariga from vying in the by-election as his registration details could not be found in the voters roll.

The DRC is chaired by IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati with Commissioners Boya Molu and Prof. Abdi Guliye as members.

The Committee heard the Complainant’s, Respondent’s and Interested Parties’ submissions on the matter and will give its determination on Monday 16th September, 2019 at 10.00 a.m.
