IEBC Conducts LSK Elections

IEBC conducted the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) polls on 27th February, 2020. The polls had seven (7) elective positions and 10,759 registered voters spread across thirty six (36) polling stations countrywide.

Nelson Havi was declared the winner by the returning officer Dr. John Mele (CEM Nairobi County) after garnering 2,675 votes to beat his close rival Maria Mbeneka, who managed 1,267 votes in 36 polling stations.

Nelson Havi is now the new President of the LSK while Carolyne Kamende was elected the Society's Vice President after trouncing her rival Eric Nyongesa.
