IEBC Kilifi South Constituency Office, led by the RO Aisha Abubakar, paid a visit to Sahajanand Special School on 29th January, 2019. The school is home to over 1000 students from around the East African Community with various forms of mental and physical disabilities. The mission of the school is to restore hope, self-esteem and confidence of children with special needs through the provision of a homely environment where they are treated with love and care, whilst also being educated to empower them with skills and knowledge that would promote independence and sustainability.

The school visit was undertaken in an effort to reach existing and potential voters in the constituency as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The team from IEBC presented the school with a small token for the students. The team also held voter education sessions with the school's administration and students.
