REGISTRATION OF PRISONERS

    WHEN: 20th to 27th February, 2017

    In accordance with the law, IEBC is conducting voter registration in prisons to allow eligible prisoners to exercise their democratic right to vote. This will happen in 117 prisons countrywide.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    • A prisoner who is registered as a voter will only vote for a presidential candidate of his or her choice.
    • Prisoners will only vote from the prison in which they are registered as voters.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Be a Kenyan citizen.
    • Be 18 years of age and above.
    • Have an original Kenyan ID or valid passport.
